Dale Major is a songwriter and musician, and along with his wife, Dawna, is the driving force behind the Cache Valley Cowboy Poetry Rendezvous in Logan, Utah.  CVCPR, which takes place every year in March, has rapidly become recognized as one of the best Cowboy Gatherings in the West. The festival features top western entertainment, and includes an educational component to help young people in our school know and appreciate Cowboy and Pioneer influences on Utah's history and heritage.  Dale is also the central figure in a dance band, and their Friday night dance at the gathering is widely popular with the local community and other fans.
