Cowboy Poets of Utah is an organization dedicated to the preservation and creation of the history and culture of the West through story-telling, poetry, music, research, arts, and lifestyle. We welcome like-minded people, including those who perform as artists or those who simply care about the West.

Meetings & Jam Sessions
Our Far North event is scheduled for Tuesday, 6/2, in Logan. Meeting begins at 4:00pm with show following. 55 W Center Street

Veterans Home Show
Our annual show was held on 1/17/26 at the Payson Veteran's Home and a show was open to the public. Members donate their time to this event to honor our Veterans.

Heritage Dinner
Our annual Heritage Dinner was held on 4/18 in Payson. The highlight of the evening was our Heritage Award presentation.

Membership
We area actively seeking new members. Annual dues are $25 per year. An application for membership is required and can be accessed at the link below.

Dale Major
Dale is a songwriter, singer and musician who is the driving force behind the Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous. He and his wife Dawna, as well as many other family members work tireless year-round to present this popular event. This year was the 16th year of this major northern Utah event.
