Cowboy Poets of Utah is an organization dedicated to the preservation and creation of the history and culture of the west through story-telling, poetry, music, research, arts, and lifestyle. We welcome like-minded people, including those who perform as artists or those who simply
care about the west.

Who Can Join?
We invite anybody interested in Cowboy Poetry in Utah to join. Members should care about the West, and about preserving our western lifestyle and heritage. Members should also participate and make a difference in the organization, but you'll help decide just what that means, as the organization grows.

How Can You Join?
To join we need a completed application now, and membership dues for the first year. Please contact us for more information and a copy of the application, or you can print the application below. If you'd just as soon, I'd just as soon you asked questions by email, 'cause that's easier for me to deal with. cpofutah@gmail.com But whatever works best for you is what you ought to figure on.

Benefits of Joining
There will be many benefits to becoming a member of our organization - one in particular is that, as a member, you will be able to help decide just WHAT EXACTLY the benefits are! Our members are all close friends - or will soon become close friends.  We have common interests and we work together to make our craft (poetry, music, history, storytelling) more professional and more fun.

Right now, we're sending out a quarterly newsletter with updates about events and "goings on..." We also show off the work of a featured poet, and have a message from our president or another member of the executive committee. We welcome submissions from members.
