Cowboy Poets of Utah is on Facebook too.

Who Can Join?
We invite anybody interested in Cowboy Poetry in Utah to join. Members should care about the West, and about preserving our western lifestyle and heritage. Members should also participate and make a difference in the organization, but you'll help decide just what that means, as the organization grows. We do currently have about forty active members!

How Can You Join?
Jump on board real soon, you'll likely have a great big say in how things get organized and what members should do to stay involved. To join we need a completed application now, and membership dues for the first year. Please contact us for more information and a copy of the application, or you can print the application below. If you'd just as soon, I'd just as soon you asked questions by email, 'cause that's easier for me to deal with. cpofutah@gmail.com But whatever works best for you is what you ought to figure on.

Benefits of Joining
There will be many benefits to becoming a member of our organization - one in particular is that, as a member, you will be able to help decide just WHAT EXACTLY the benefits are! We figure our members are all close friends, or at least we put up with each other pretty good, and we'd just as soon spend time with each other as not. 'Course we also have a passel of common interests, and we hope to work together to make our craft more professional and maybe even have more fun.

Right now, we're sending out a quarterly newsletter with updates about events and "goings on..." We also show off the work of a featured poet, and have a message from our president or another member of the executive committee. Sound good? Yep, it is!!!

Margo Metagrano wrote and sent the following, about the CPU CD produced by Paul Kern.
It was a pleasure to post Rick Huff's enthusiastic review of "Symposium 2010" at CowboyPoetry.com:
