1st Annual CPU / WMA Gathering

Val Carter is trying to put together a Friday night, Saturday day and night Cowboy Poetry Gathering.

We have talked with the Utah Chapter of the WMA and they seemed to be positive about it.

This will be an opportunity for all CPU members to perform if they wish to.

The ideas:

Lehi has the facilities, and has shown an interest in having a larger event. The Lehi Cowboy Poetry Assoc. is also behind us having it there.

The show on Saturday night would be poets and music that was selected by the membership, sort of a peer award.

The problems:

Setting a date that is good for as many as possible. Also good for Lehi.
